The tuning culture of Japan is a bit different than that of the US.  Our trip to HKS recognized this with a huge amount of parts being produced for the micro car market that is so popular in Japan.  In addition to the micro cars, it seems that many of the Japanese love to mod minivans, making something that is very uninteresting, into something very interesting.  We got a good look at one of these modded minivans at HKS, as we were transported around the huge facility in one.  This one had been dropped on HKS coil overs, aero added, wheels, Endless brakes added, and a full compliment of aftermarket goodies installed including a crazy HKS supercharger, boosting the power to 400 horse's.  This is not a momma grocery getter, as we got a good demonstration of its capabilities with 6 of us in the thing!  It has eaten the likes of modded STi's and unsuspecting Evo's!   Some part of me still thinks its wrong to mod a vehicle like this...  But in Japan, anything goes!
